Hello everyone, my name is Chris Carlton and I recently joined SeeVolution. I was born and raised in Madison, WI and graduated from the UW – Whitewater with a degree in management. I have always been infatuated with driving traffic to websites; what doesn’t work, and more importantly, what does.
During my last semester of school I studied abroad in Buenos Aires where I took part in an innovative education platform called Education 360 with the director of my school’s global business resource center. It was this platform that allowed me to interview some of the brightest high technology entrepreneurs in the world where they taught me first hand about topics like website optimization and real time analytics.

We’ve just released a ton of new features at SeeVolution for website analytics including a Mouse Movement Heatmap and a Live Click Heatmap. Mouse Movement Heatmaps track the movement of the mouse on a web page and display hot and cold spots of your website. There is a correlation between mouse movement and eye movement with the new heatmap analytics, so it’s safe to assume that hotter spots translate to more eyeballs on that particular spot.

SeeVolution has launched two new upgrades this morning for more thorough and quicker analytics reporting of your website. These new changes to the already state of the art website analytics software will make your analytics reports easier and faster to create during your analytics campaign. The two new upgrades for SeeVolution are faster loading and more in depth analytics heatmaps and the addition of most viewed pages on your site in the analytics toolbar.
Analytics heatmaps are the most well known feature of SeeVolution and allows for interactive analytics reporting of your traffic and dedicated users. Now the heatmaps of your users’ mouse clicks on your site load 2 to 3 times faster thanks to the new upgrades launched today. You are also now able to see mouse clicks throughout the entire website and not just on objects and text, though you have the option to not include these results. The picture below shows the new changes on the faster heatmaps for quicker analytics reporting.
The other new upgrade to SeeVolution to improve analytics reporting is the inclusion of most viewed pages on your site in the analytics toolbar. This data is updated in real time and shown in a chart when you first access the analytics toolbar. As a bonus, you are able to navigate directly to that page just by clicking the page shown on the chart. This allows for further analytics reporting of that individual page so you can check the analytics of your best performing pages on your site with one click. The picture below illustrates the new chart at the bottom of the toolbar to help you generate faster analytics reports.
The new upgrades to SeeVolution should help increase the efficiency of your analytics reporting. Faster generated heatmaps and a real time filtering of your most popular pages will help you quickly gather analytics reports of your best performing pages within seconds.
